Strip away titles, view counts, and metrics. See only the thumbnails, so you can study the visuals without any bias.
When you're researching thumbnails, view counts get in the way. You see a thumbnail next to '10M views' and your brain immediately thinks it's a great thumbnail. But is it? Or did the creator just have a massive audience? You can't judge a thumbnail objectively when the numbers are screaming at you. Vision Boards strip everything away. No titles, no view counts, no channel names. Just the thumbnails. This forces you to evaluate the visual on its own merits: does the composition grab attention? Is the concept clear? Would you click this if you had no idea how many views it had? It's the closest thing to seeing your own thumbnail through a viewer's eyes and is a great way to train your intuition.
