The Team Behind 1of10
Richard Do, Co-Founder and CEO
Richard Do ("Richard the YouTube Strategist") co-founded 1of10 in 2023. Before 1of10, Richard worked as a content strategist for MrBeast and ran an agency serving 100+ YouTubers (still operating today as 1of10's strategy division), where he identified the workflow gaps that inspired the platform. Richard hosts the 1of10 Podcast and leads our strategy team.
Riad Etmimou, Co-Founder
Riad joined Richard as our technical co-founder, bringing AI engineering experience from Microsoft. He leads the AI and engineering teams that train our models on outlier video data and ship the platform features.
Why We Built 1of10
Working directly with some of YouTube’s biggest creators across his agency, Richard kept seeing the same problem: tasks that should take minutes were taking hours because the existing YouTube tools were built for the search era. Outlier ideation existed as a manual practice but no software had made it accessible.
We turned that manual practice into a workflow, then layered AI generation on top so creators could move from research to finished asset in a single sitting.
